The Damned School System

School systems... Every school system within the United States follows the same basic agenda, and it happens to be called "regurgitation." Every faculty member and teacher alike abides by the same rules of education. They are supposed to teach, the youth of America, lessons that will stick with them...with us... for a lifetime. Does anyone really remember an exact thing that happened in 9th grade earth science? Me either. They are riding on the term known as "teaching to the test." It is all based on what makes them look good on paper as being a teacher. They want you to be successful so they look successful when really the youth aren't truly learning anything at all. Sure, "A's" don't just come to many of us, they come through hard work. Colleges will be looking for the good grades and the highest GPA possible, which is just the way it is. The "A's" come to those who are best at regurgitating the information. Several students, especially in high school years, are starting to learn who they are and what it will take to make it in the future. It's a vulnerable time for growing kids, self-esteem and confidence can come at an all-time low. A lot of the time it comes from school pressures. They aren't conforming to the regurgitation process so they won't make it in the future. This is completely wrong, but the school systems have raised us up this way. The life ahead is not based on someone’s ability to spit out information and have no clue with what they are saying. Intelligence is what separates us from the wild animals of the world. How are we any different from those animals when the school systems aren't teaching us anything worth remembering?   Anyone can listen to a command and do it; hell… even a dog is capable of doing this. The teachers that go out of their way to learn what the youth of the USA are up to are the ones that will be successful in teaching and getting through to their students.  Kids will want to remember what their teacher said and want to be more successful. If a teacher can relate to their students then they automatically have their attention. So not only do the school systems force regurgitation upon students, they also encourage their teachers not to be attached to their students. Shouldn't kids want to be successful, school board?
